Crumbling (2020)

I painted this self-portrait at the beginning of the pandemic, to reflect the terror and panic that I felt, along with everyone. What is happening? What should I do? Is civilization as we know it falling apart? The dramatic use of color and the powerful erratic brushstrokes suggest these feelings.
